June Flynn was born June Ann Brown, in Alexandria Louisiana, on Oct 26, 1947. She was the 5th child, of seven. She used to tell a story about being born on the ferry to Natchez, but her official birthplace was Alexandria. In 1950, the family moved to Santa Rosa CA, where June spent her childhood and teen years, and would marry and have her two beautiful babies. One of my first memories is of rollerstaking at the old Santa Rosa Roller Rink, with June and Marcia holding me up between them, my little 2 yr old legs going a mile a minute. I had a lot of fun in my life with June. She was always up for fun, and loved to have a good time, especially with her family.
